VESA is a standard sizing guide used on nearly all TVs around the world. they are based on the holes that are in the back of your TV and the measurements are worked out from the distance between the screws - so for example your screws might be 200mm (20cm) across from each other and 200mm up and down from each other - that means your TVs VESA is 200mm x 200mm. All TVs should be compatible but occasionaly models arent - such as Sonys W6, W7 and W8 range which require an adapter kit as the bottom VESA Holes are not in vertically aligned.
Dont worry about curved TVs - they all should have the same VESA as regular flat screen TVs
